چکیده
The objective of this paper explores a bibliometric approach to quantitatively evaluating the characteristics in the research aspect of home networking, retrieving the related literature information (1981–2009) at Engineering Village 2 (Ei) database. The results of this study reveal that the literature production on home networking that grow exponentially with an annual growth rate about 20%. The distribution of cumulative number of literatures does confirm the typical S-shape for Bradford-Zipf plot in last decade. The most document type of publication is conference article, composting 67.92% in proportional to total literature production and English is the major publication language (98.06%). Republic of Korea tops the ranking and delivered the major contribution for the literature publication (19.91%).

On Wireless Sensor Networks
This paper investigates the research issues in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), which is a new computing paradigm that emerged from the fusion of the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and Ad hoc networks technologies. WSNs provide network connectivity without the aid of any preexisting networking infrastructure. Very small sensor nodes, capable of sensing, data processing...
متن کاملComparative assessment between historical and future trends in the daily maximum temperature parameter over selected stations of Iran
Objective of this study is to determine whether there are significant changes in maximum temperature trends between the current (1981-2010) and future (2011-2099) periods. To this end, statistical downscaling is used to project future changes in the maximum temperatures according to A2 and B2 scenarios of HADCM3 in the 7 selected stations of Iran. The possibilities of an accelerating trend are ...
متن کاملSoftware Defined Home Networking: Research Challenges and Innovation Opportunities
The myriad of connected devices in today’s households have greatly increased the complexity of home networks. Evolving use cases demand new networking capabilities in the home and call for new approaches to deal with the control requirements and quality of experience expectations of end users. OpenFlow/SDN represents a recent trend in open interfaces to network elements and new control plane ab...
متن کاملIntelligent Multi-Agent Middleware for Ubiquitous Home Networking Environments
The next stage of the home networking environment is supposed to be ubiquitous, where each piece of material is equipped with an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag. To fully support the ubiquitous environment, home networking middleware should be able to recommend home services based on a user’s interests and efficiently manage information on service usage profiles for the users. Therefo...
